James, James, James.

By Derrick | January 19, 2008

BTW, if you promote him on your blog, you can forget about getting any promotion from me in the future.

I’ve really enjoyed your blog over the last year or so. It’s been inspirational. And thanks for the offer to promote my blog. Unfortunately, I’ll have to turn it down, because I don’t like being dragged into your personal dispute.

I won’t be removing Robert’s link from my sidebar. I don’t know Robert at all, except as a reader of his blog and as a customer. I can’t vouch for his character. But I can say that the products I’ve bought from him have been of consistently high quality.

I don’t much care to be threatened. If I have to survive without your patronage or products in the future, so be it.

I think you’ve made the right call on this. It will be interesting to see if he follows through on the threat, and stops “promoting” Terry Dean, and others.

As for his products and doing without…, check out Fred Black’s comments on rasof at http://www.pqinternet.com

I’m glad to have found your blog!

I am surprised the amount of buzz this little subject has generated. A shame it happened.

Robert Phillips sells a product advertising the ability to set up RSS feed-posting of Clickbank, Amazon etc. products to your blog, with no additional cost. On purchasing you find out that you have to subscribe to a paid service in order to do so.

On trying to contact him I’ve hit only a series of brick walls, and waved goodbye to the money I paid.

Be careful who you deal with on the Internet!
