Get traffic by joining the Bloglines Train

I love Bloglines. I’ve been using it for a few months now, and I find it quicker and easier than the feed aggregators I’ve experimented with in the past. I’ve also been seeing that other marketers are getting traffic from Bloglines. When Maki at Dosh Dosh mentioned that a Bloglines Train had been started, I leapt aboard.

I love the way the blogging community works together to help each other. Joining Bloglines (which is free, by the way) and the Bloglines Train will boost your RSS readership and give you more links in Technorati.

You’ll find it much easier to copy the links if you do it from the page source code (View – Page Source in Firefox).

Here are the rules:

1) If you don’t have a bloglines account signup for one, if you do have a bloglines account sign in to your account!

2) Write a short introduction paragraph about what how you found the Bloglines list and include a link to the blog that referred you to the list.

3) COPY the Rules and ENTIRE List below and post it to your blog. To avoid duplicate content and increase the amount of keywords your site can be accessible for, go ahead and change the titles of the blog. Just don’t change the links of the blog.

4) Take “My New List” and move them into the “The Original List”.

5) Add 3 Blogs that you’ve just added to your Bloglines List to the “My New List” section. Remember to also add the “List the Site” link next to your new blogs (i.e. http://www.bloglines.com/sub/http://www.theblogurl.com/feed)

6) Add everyone on this list to your Bloglines List by clicking on “List the Site.” Those who want good karma will list you back. If not, you will for sure get the benefits of readers from the bloggers who continue this list after you.

Forgive my stupidity, but Bloglines is not easy at all. So, I join up. What next? I cannot figure out how it works, cannot figure how to create a blog list. I sincerely hope others benefit from this; you make it sound worthwhile. Unfortunately, it’s way out of my league.

Would beg to differ with you. I am not a fan of Bloglines infact I prefer desktop feed readers like i-Fetch per se. I think it is much easier to use offline feed readers when you’re not connected with the internet.
