Frustrating Your Customers

Terry Dean has a great 48-hour special on his blog. I would have bought it, but his shopping cart system wouldn’t accept any of the 3 credit cards I tried. He’s using NetOfficeTools, which I think is a private label version of OneShoppingCart – a system that has often given me the same problem in the past.

Basically, the system kicks out an error saying that the cardholder’s address is not the same as the one I’ve entered. I don’t know if it’s a problem with my bank or with OneShoppingCart, but theirs is the only system that I remember doing this. Terry’s page doesn’t accept Paypal, so I’m frustrated, hot little credit card in my hand, unable to purchase.

How many of your customers are in the same position?
