I read Ed Zelinski’s book, The Joy Of Not Working, last year. The idea of not being tied to a five-day a week, eight-to-five job, submitting to someone else’s rules, really appealed to me. The vision of being able to quit my day job and work for myself is my primary goal at the moment.
In my quest to find a way out of my rut, I stumbled upon James Brausch. James currently works 3 hour a day, four days a week. His software products and courses are all targeted at building an online business through simplification and automation. His Freedom Business System course explains exactly how to go about getting other people to do the day-to-day work for you – all you do is set up the systems for them to use.
In a recent post on his blog, James recommended a book by Tim Ferriss, called The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich. I had a look at the website and immediately ordered the book from a local online retailer (Loot.co.za).
