I checked the GetResponse folder in my mail client today, and found that I had 6 signups to my mini-course on Building Traffic With Content. It was quite exciting – although rather expensive, since I’m using Adwords to get people to my sign-up page.
I wrote out a list of things to do over the weekend – the first was to finish uploading the minicourse before anyone got to the end of it! I also wanted to do some work on my new article site – www.article-agenda.com – posting some starter articles, for example!
Another item was “Find a decent theme for lxmarketing.com” – the default WordPress theme is quite distinctive, and rather bland. You’ll be able to see if I’ve managed to get as far as this one by what the site looks like!
I’ve done some experimenting with podcasts this week – bought myself a cheap ‘n nasty MP3 player, and tried downloading some podcasts using iPodder. I also started reading through the Podcasting ebook which came with Source Code Blowout 2 – it’s really well written, and steps you through all the stages from “What is Podcasting?” to “10 Ways to Make Money Podcasting.” I’ll put up the sales page here!
I’ve managed to find a bit of time to watch some of Louis Allport’s video tutorials, which are packaged with the Adsense Starter Kit I think the video format really does make the information stick a bit better than just reading the material, and Louis has done a terrific job with these videos.
